About Dr. Penney:
Dr. Penney was born in Little Rock. He is a 1984 graduate of Little Rock Catholic High. He received his BS from the University of Central Arkansas in 1988 and his DDS from the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences is Memphis in 1992. In 1994, he returned from a two-year residency at Boston University’s Goldman School of Dental Medicine to practice in his hometown.
Dr. Penney has been teaching Continuing Education on the advancements in Endodontics since 1995. He has lectured throughout the country on all aspects of cutting edge Endodontics.

I had to go see Dr. Penney for a revision on two botched root canals that got infected (done by a different dentist) and I was SO IMPRESSED and pleased with the experience. I am in my first trimester and was expecting it to be a huge undertaking...he was in and out in 40 minutes. I had mild soreness following the procedure for a day, and then was completely pain free. Dr. Penney and his entire staff were incredibly personable and kind, and told me multiple times that if I needed to come back for a bite adjustment, I could bring my kids with me and they’d watch them for me. I wish Dr. Penney did general dentistry too so I could give him my business more, but I’m so grateful to know we’ve got an excellent endodontist nearby if we ever need it!!!

The staff are very professional and very friendly. Dr. Penny really knows what he is doing and he works fast and keep you entertained and not worrying.
Understood the incredible pain with which I came to him after his preliminary examinations. The heavy doses of undesirable pain killers every 6 hours was not doing any good. Despite not being in his schedule, he offered to work me in for an emergency root canal and what relief! I could sleep peacefully that night on. My dread on hearing the word "root canal" is over - the relief I got was huge.
